how do i run a faster 40. what should i work out to get a quicker time.The 40 patio fly?
You enjoy to break it down on what it means to run faster back you prescribe yourself an exercise program. Running speed=stride length * stride frequency.
To increase stride length, you will have to use strength training technique, exercising emphasizing on power, and own proper flexibility in the hip, knees, and ankle joint. I am not going to write you a program, but example of exercises are: squats, lunges, leg press, deadlifts, etc. The parachutes, and resistance cable will help too here.
To increase stride frequency, you will own to use plyometrics. Plyometrics and power are not the same item so dont get them confused here. Exercises such as bounds, tuck jump, power skipping, etc.
Ask yourself why you are doing a particular exercise earlier you do it or you are just wasting your time and pains. Dont do something because I or someone else is telling you to do it, research the stuff formerly starting it.

If you wanna get a faster 40 time you should start running near resistant equipment. Either weights, tires, or parachutes. That got my time from 5.1 to 4.8
